Once we have a clear indication of your strategic aims, we develop and manage meaningful and realistic budgets and forecasts. These in turn allow you to report and communicate with more clarity and confidence to all stakeholders.

Through reviewing your current financial systems, we will be able to advise what may need to be improved or help you find other systems more fit for your current needs. It is important that whatever system you use, you have processes which produce alerts and accurate reports to enable you to react and resolve issues quickly, and make informed decisions.

Based on experience Xero and Sage are the financial systems most commonly used, as they are simple-to-use, are cost-effective and cover the requirements of most SMEs. In our view, they perform perfectly well in any organisation operating up to £20m turnover, as long as populated with quality data and with the right person keeping an eye on the reports and cash runway.

To support this, we have developed proprietary modelling to keep an eye on the ‘financial temperature’ of the business. We make sure that the right assumptions are incorporated in the model, in order to provide quality forecasts. We use this model to identify value inflection points, monitor the achievement of key milestones and realise new opportunities.

For an AIM-quoted Plc it allows better accuracy in assessing the right time to raise funds. It also allows for correct AIM regulatory compliance, monitoring performance against market expectations and making any necessary announcements.

For private companies a critical advantage is to more capably manage debt, such as by anticipating the need for more cash sooner to make timely adjustments.
